Kristopher Konyak

UTICA | 1890-1906
I am from Utica NY ... Living and working in the Hudson Valley, I am spoiled to have Manhattan a train ride away, and the Catskills just over the ridge. The weather isn't great. The art scene is.

I am surrounded by performers, poets, painters, chefs, cartoons, ceramicists, artists, acrobats, and athletes.

Bardavon Inc. is a member based non-profit organization that owns and operates 2 historic theaters and the Hudson Valley Philharmonic. My title as art director may be a little deceiving. Though I do work regularly in my office as a designer, my function within the organization is broad. As problems present themselves, I am tasked to help tackle them. I am flexible, having contributed in the past to marketing, production, house management, hospitality, development, and organizing.

The HV community allows me countless opportunities to enjoy and be a part of its ever changing music scene and culture. Along with my 9 to 5, I freelance for artisans who work in all mediums. I am critical but open to new genres. And enjoy the research and steps neccesary to provide a thoroughly developed end product.

... be right back
